John 20–21 concludes the Gospel with the glorious resurrection of Jesus and His personal restoration of Peter. These chapters overflow with hope, renewal, and purpose. The empty tomb testifies to victory over death, and Jesus’ appearances to Mary, the disciples, and Thomas reveal His compassion toward those struggling with doubt or fear. Finally, on the shore of Galilee, Jesus gently restores Peter and commissions His followers to continue His work. Through it all, we see that resurrection is not just an event — it’s an ongoing invitation to live in His presence and walk in His power.
