💖 Scripture of the Day:
“Don’t be afraid; just believe.” — Luke 8:50
In Luke 8–9, Jesus reveals His authority over nature, sickness, demons, and even death. These chapters highlight not just His power, but also His compassion and the call to follow Him by faith. The disciples are sent out to preach and heal, learning that true ministry flows from dependence on God’s strength rather than human effort. Through parables, miracles, and personal encounters, Jesus shows that the Kingdom of God grows through faith, humility, and obedience. These chapters invite us to trust Jesus completely — to listen, believe, and follow even when we don’t understand.
📖 Overview of Luke 8–9
🔹 Luke 8 – Parables of the Kingdom, the calming of the storm, healing of the demon-possessed man, and the raising of Jairus’s daughter.
🔹 Luke 9 – The sending of the Twelve, the feeding of the five thousand, Peter’s confession of Christ, the Transfiguration, and Jesus’ call to deny self and follow Him.
💠 Following Faithfully
Luke 8–9 reminds us that Jesus’ authority is limitless, and His love is steadfast. He calls us not to passive belief but to active, living faith — the kind that bears fruit, conquers fear, and endures through trials. Discipleship means surrender, but in that surrender we find strength, purpose, and true life in Him.
