September 20 – Let’s talk ” Appreciation.” What are three things that you appreciate about yourself?
💖 Scripture for the Day
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” — Psalm 139:14
Reflection
Appreciation often comes easily when we think of others—but learning to appreciate how God made us is an act of humility and gratitude. Recognizing your God-given strengths, gifts, and growth doesn’t lead to pride—it leads to worship.
When we see ourselves through the lens of God’s love, we begin to understand that every part of us—our personality, abilities, and even our story—was crafted intentionally. The Holy Spirit helps us celebrate the unique ways God reflects His image through each of us.
Many of us are quick to point out our flaws, but the Spirit invites us to pause and notice the good that He has formed within. As we do, our appreciation becomes a declaration of His handiwork.
Daily Practice
Write down three things you appreciate about yourself—qualities, talents, or even ways you’ve grown in faith. Thank God for creating you uniquely and for shaping your life with purpose.
✍️ Journal Prompt
What are three qualities or strengths in you that reflect God’s goodness? How can you use these gifts to glorify Him and bless others?
Prayer
Father, Thank You for creating me with intention and care. Forgive me for the times I’ve been overly critical of myself. Help me to see what You see—to appreciate the ways You’ve shaped me for Your glory. Teach me to live with gratitude and confidence in who You’ve made me to be. Amen.
