💖 Scripture of the Day
“But there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries.” — Daniel 2:28
The opening chapters of Daniel set the stage for living faithfully in a culture opposed to God. Daniel and his friends are taken into exile, faced with pressure to conform, yet they resolve to remain loyal to God. Their faith is tested through dietary choices, dream interpretations, and even the fiery furnace. Through it all, God shows His sovereignty by granting wisdom, revealing mysteries, and delivering His faithful servants from danger. These chapters remind us that no matter the setting—whether in exile, under pressure, or in trial—God honors those who stand firm in faith. He is the true King, greater than any earthly ruler.
📖 Overview of Daniel 1–3
🔹 Daniel 1 – Daniel and his friends refuse the king’s food, remaining faithful, and God blesses them with wisdom and health.
🔹 Daniel 2 – Nebuchadnezzar’s troubling dream is revealed and interpreted by Daniel, who declares God’s sovereignty over kingdoms.
🔹 Daniel 3 – Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refuse to bow to the golden image and are miraculously delivered from the fiery furnace.
