“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?” — Psalm 27:1
There’s something special about Sundays. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and reset as we prepare for a new week ahead. It’s also a perfect moment to step into the light of God’s presence and be reminded of His love, truth, and promises.
A Scripture Reflection: God’s Light Guides Us
Life can be filled with uncertainties—unexpected challenges, difficult decisions, and moments where we feel lost. But Psalm 27:1 reminds us of an incredible truth: The Lord Himself is our light. He illuminates the path before us, showing us where to go. When we walk in His light, we don’t have to be afraid of the unknown. His presence is our salvation, our security, and our peace.
When we focus on the light of God, the darkness loses its power. Fear and doubt may try to creep in, but they cannot stand against the brilliance of His truth and love. Just like the sun breaking through the clouds, God’s light chases away all that seeks to bring us down.

Let’s declare this truth over our lives today:
