April: Testimony Tuesday
April has arrived, and with it comes a new focus for our Monthly Devotional Series: Living in God’s Light and Letting Your Light Shine! 🌟✨
As we step into the beginning of Holy Week, let’s take a moment to reflect on what it truly means to walk in the light of Christ.
My Testimony: Stepping Out of Darkness into His Glorious Light
There was a time in my life when I struggled to see the path ahead. I felt lost, uncertain, and burdened by worries I couldn’t shake. The weight of expectations, fears, and self-doubt kept me from fully embracing the life God had for me. But then, God’s light broke through.
Through prayer, scripture, and the love of those around me, I began to see how God’s light was always there, even when I couldn’t recognize it. One verse in particular carried me through:
📖 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
I realized that living in the light doesn’t mean everything is perfect; it means trusting that God is guiding us, even when we only see the next step. When I finally surrendered and chose to walk in His light, I experienced a peace that only He can give—a peace that replaced my fears with faith.
Now, I make it my mission to reflect that light wherever I go. Whether through kindness, encouragement, or simply being present for others, I want to shine for Jesus.
