The genealogies continue in chapters 6–9, but now we see a more refined focus. These aren’t just lists—they are signposts of God’s redemptive work in families, worship, and restoration. God is organizing His people, rebuilding a foundation for worship, and showing that no detail escapes His attention—even after exile. These chapters encourage us to honor God with our lives, knowing He sees, remembers, and restores. The mention of worship leaders, temple servants, and returning exiles reveals God’s desire to dwell among His people. Even those who seemed forgotten are brought back into the picture. It’s a reminder that God writes redemption into every chapter of our story—even the ones we’d rather skip.
