💖 Scripture of the Day:
“Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent.” — Acts 18:9
Acts 15–18 highlights how the early Church navigated challenges, discerned God’s will, and pressed forward in mission despite opposition. We see the apostles unite over a major doctrinal conflict, Paul and Barnabas part ways yet continue faithfully, and Paul’s second missionary journey expand the Gospel into new territories. God opens hearts, strengthens weary believers, and establishes churches in key cities like Philippi, Thessalonica, Berea, Athens, and Corinth. These chapters remind us that God guides His people through both open doors and hard disagreements — and His mission never stops.
📖 Overview of Acts 15–18
🔹 Acts 15 – The Jerusalem Council resolves the issue of Gentile believers and confirms salvation by grace.
🔹 Acts 16 – Paul receives the Macedonian call; Lydia is converted; Paul and Silas are imprisoned and miraculously freed.
🔹 Acts 17 – Paul preaches in Thessalonica, Berea, and Athens, proclaiming the “unknown God.”
🔹 Acts 18 – Paul ministers in Corinth, strengthened by Christ’s encouragement and by faithful partners like Aquila and Priscilla.
💠 Guided, Strengthened, and Sent
Acts 15–18 shows a Church learning to follow God’s leading with unity, courage, and endurance. Through debate, direction, opposition, and encouragement, the Gospel continues to spread. God still calls His people to walk in grace, discern His will, and trust that He is always ahead of us on the journey.
