💖 Scripture of the Day:

“God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him.” — Acts 10:34–35

Woman Reading Bible with Coffee

Acts 8–10 shows how the Gospel begins to break beyond Jerusalem’s borders. What started as persecution becomes the spark for worldwide mission. Philip preaches in Samaria and to the Ethiopian eunuch, Peter heals and raises the dead, and God prepares his heart for a divine appointment with Cornelius — a Gentile whose faith marks the dawn of a new era. Through the Holy Spirit, barriers fall, prejudice fades, and salvation reaches every nation. These chapters remind us that God’s grace knows no boundaries, and His message is for everyone who believes.

📖 Overview of Acts 8–10

🔹 Acts 8 – Philip preaches in Samaria and shares the Gospel with the Ethiopian eunuch.
🔹 Acts 9 – Saul encounters Jesus on the road to Damascus and is radically transformed.
🔹 Acts 10 – Peter receives a vision affirming God’s acceptance of all people and shares the Gospel with Cornelius.

💠 A Gospel Without Limits

Acts 8–10 celebrates the unstoppable reach of God’s Kingdom. The Spirit guided believers beyond comfort zones and cultural walls to carry the light of Christ into new places. God still calls His people to go where He leads and share the same message of grace that changes hearts and nations alike.

📚 Bible Study Points and Reflections

  • 🔖 Acts 8: Faith That Travels
    • 📌 Key Verse: Acts 8:39 – “The Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away… and the eunuch went on his way rejoicing.”
    • 💡 Reflection: The Gospel spreads through obedience. Philip followed the Spirit’s leading and brought eternal joy to one man — and through him, to an entire region.
    • Application: How can you become more sensitive to the Spirit’s promptings to share your faith wherever you go?
  • 🔖 Acts 9: From Persecutor to Preacher
    • 📌 Key Verse: Acts 9:15 – “This man is My chosen instrument to proclaim My name to the Gentiles.”
    • 💡 Reflection: Saul’s conversion reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach. The same Jesus who confronted him in blinding light still transforms hearts today.
    • Application: Who in your life seems “unlikely” to believe — and how can you pray or act to show them Christ’s love?
  • 🔖 Acts 10: Grace Without Walls
    • 📌 Key Verse: Acts 10:34–35 – “God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right.”
    • 💡 Reflection: God’s love is limitless. Peter’s vision reveals that salvation is not confined to one culture, background, or people — it’s for all.
    • Application: How can you reflect God’s heart for inclusion and compassion in your words and actions?

✨ Encouragement of the Day

God can use anyone, anywhere, at any time to spread His message. The same Spirit who moved through Philip, Saul, and Peter is still working today, leading us to people who need to hear the Good News.

💬 Discussion Question

Why do you think God chose such diverse people — a persecutor, an outsider, and a Gentile — to expand His Kingdom’s reach?

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, thank You for a Gospel without borders. Fill me with courage to follow Your Spirit’s leading and share Your love freely. Break down any walls in my heart that keep me from seeing others as You do. Amen.
