Luke 20–22 draws us closer to the climax of Jesus’ earthly ministry. Confronted by religious leaders, He boldly teaches truth, exposes hypocrisy, and prepares His disciples for His coming sacrifice. Through His words and actions, we see the perfect union of divine authority and humble obedience. As betrayal looms and the cross draws near, Jesus continues to serve, teach, and love — showing that even in suffering, God’s redemptive plan is unstoppable.

📖 Overview of Luke 20–22

🔹 Luke 20 – Jesus’ authority is questioned; He shares parables about stewardship and warns against the hypocrisy of the scribes.
🔹 Luke 21 – Jesus praises the widow’s offering, foretells the destruction of the temple, and speaks of His return.
🔹 Luke 22 – The plot to betray Jesus unfolds; He shares the Last Supper, prays on the Mount of Olives, and is arrested.

💠 The Cornerstone and the Cross

Luke 20–22 reveals both the cost and beauty of obedience. Jesus’ authority was challenged, yet He never wavered. His surrender brought salvation to all who believe. As we follow Him, may we build our lives on His truth, live alert in prayer, and walk courageously in His will.
