💖 Scripture of the Day:
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.” — Acts 1:8
Acts 1–4 marks the beginning of a new era — the birth of the Church through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus ascends to heaven, commissioning His followers to be His witnesses “to the ends of the earth.” Then, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit fills the believers, empowering them to proclaim the Gospel boldly. Thousands are saved, miracles confirm the message, and a spirit of unity and generosity fills the early Church. These chapters remind us that the same Spirit who moved in Jerusalem still empowers believers today to live courageously and proclaim Christ with conviction.
📖 Overview of Acts 1–4

🔹 Acts 2 – The Holy Spirit descends at Pentecost; Peter preaches and three thousand are saved.
🔹 Acts 3 – Peter and John heal a lame man and preach repentance in Jesus’ name.
🔹 Acts 4 – The apostles face opposition but continue to speak with boldness as the Church grows.
💠 The Spirit and the Witness
Acts 1–4 marks the dawn of the Spirit-filled Church. The apostles moved in power, preached with boldness, and lived with unity and generosity. Their message — that salvation is found in Jesus alone — changed the world. That same Spirit continues to equip and empower us to carry the Gospel to every corner of the earth.
