September 24 – Read Galatians 5:22-25. Pray through the fruits of the Spirit, thanking the Spirit for His Fruits.
đź’– Scripture for the Day
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:22–25
Reflection
The fruit of the Spirit reveals the character of Christ formed in us. These qualities—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—are not things we produce by effort but gifts that grow as we stay connected to the Spirit.
When we pause to thank God for these fruits, we acknowledge His transforming work within us. Gratitude shifts our focus from striving to abiding—from self-effort to Spirit-dependence. Each fruit is evidence that the Spirit is alive and active, shaping us to look more like Jesus.
Today, take time not only to pray for these fruits but to thank God for how they’ve already begun to blossom in your life. Even in small, unseen ways, the Spirit is cultivating His likeness in you.
Daily Practice
Read Galatians 5:22–25 slowly. As you reflect on each fruit, thank the Holy Spirit for how He’s producing it in you. Ask for continued growth and grace to stay in step with Him.
