These chapters continue God’s messages of judgment against the nations, focusing on Tyre, Sidon, and Egypt. The king of Tyre is condemned for his pride, claiming divinity and trusting in wealth and wisdom instead of God. Sidon too faces judgment, yet God promises that His people will be restored and vindicated. In chapters 29–30, Egypt is warned of coming devastation—Pharaoh, compared to a proud dragon, will be humbled, and Egypt’s false security will collapse. Through it all, God reminds His people that He alone is Lord of nations, humbling the proud and defending His name. These prophecies call us to humility, trust, and reverence before the One who rules over all.

📖 Overview of Ezekiel 28–30

🔹 Ezekiel 28 – Condemnation of the king of Tyre for arrogance, claiming divine wisdom and power. God declares his downfall.
🔹 Ezekiel 29 – Prophecy against Pharaoh and Egypt, comparing Pharaoh to a prideful dragon pulled from the Nile.
🔹 Ezekiel 30 – Judgment on Egypt and its allies. A day of the Lord is coming—Egypt’s pride will be shattered.

👑 God Alone Rules

Ezekiel 28–30 highlights God’s judgment on the proud nations of Tyre, Sidon, and Egypt. Their arrogance and false securities could not withstand the hand of the Lord. For us, the lesson is clear: pride leads to ruin, but trust in God leads to life. His justice humbles the arrogant, but His mercy restores those who depend on Him.
