These chapters highlight God’s sovereignty over kings and kingdoms. Nebuchadnezzar’s pride is shattered until he acknowledges the Most High as ruler over all. Belshazzar mocks God with arrogance and faces judgment that very night. Daniel remains steadfast through it all, even when cast into the lions’ den for his faithfulness. Together, these stories remind us that human power is temporary, but God’s reign is eternal. They encourage us to humble ourselves, trust in God under pressure, and remember that He is able to rescue and deliver.
