🌟 Devotional: Jesus, the Ultimate Leader

As we continue our May series, “Living with Purpose: Walking Boldly in Your Calling,” we turn our focus to Jesus Christ, the epitome of servant leadership. His life and teachings provide a blueprint for leading with humility, compassion, and unwavering purpose.
In John 13:12–15, after washing His disciples’ feet, Jesus said:
“Do you understand what I have done for you? … I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
This act wasn’t just about cleanliness; it was a profound demonstration of humility and service. Jesus, the Son of God, took on the role of a servant to teach us that true leadership is rooted in serving others.
Moreover, Isaiah 42:1 prophesied:
“Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight.”
Jesus fulfilled this prophecy, embodying the servant leader who prioritizes others’ needs above His own. His leadership style was not about authority or dominance but about love, sacrifice, and guidance.
As we strive to live purposefully, let’s emulate Jesus’ example by leading with humility and serving those around us.
💐 Honoring Faith-Filled Mothers
On this Mother’s Day, we celebrate and honor the incredible women who have led their families with faith, strength, and love. Mothers are often the unsung heroes, guiding their families through life’s challenges with grace and resilience.
Proverbs 31:25 describes such a woman:
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”
This verse encapsulates the essence of a mother’s strength and the confidence that comes from faith.
Let’s take a moment to offer a prayer of blessing for all mothers:
“Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of mothers. Bless them with strength, wisdom, and unwavering faith. May they feel Your love and presence in every moment. Guide them as they lead their families, and let them know how deeply they are appreciated and loved. Amen.”
