Woman Reading Bible with Coffee

These chapters focus on God’s judgment against two nations—Philistia and Moab. The Philistines, longtime enemies of Israel, face destruction from the north, showing that even powerful nations cannot stand against God’s purposes. Moab, though prosperous and proud, is brought low because of arrogance and idolatry. Yet even in judgment, God’s heart of compassion shines through as He promises to restore Moab in the future. These chapters remind us that pride leads to downfall, but God’s mercy still extends beyond discipline. His justice is universal, but so is His compassion.

📖 Overview of Jeremiah 47–48
