“But he was pierced for our transgressions… the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5
These chapters of Isaiah lift the heart with promises of restoration and peace, culminating in one of the most profound prophetic revelations of the coming Messiah. God speaks comfort to His people, calling them to remember His faithfulness and look forward to redemption. In chapter 53, we are introduced to the “Suffering Servant”—a vivid portrayal of Jesus Christ, who would bear our sins and bring healing through His wounds.
