Judges 6:12 – “When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, ‘The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.’”
Judges 4-6 introduces us to some of Israel’s most memorable leaders, including Deborah, Barak, and Gideon. As Israel continues in its cycle of rebellion and deliverance, God raises up judges to rescue them. Deborah, a prophetess and wise leader, boldly calls Barak to battle, while Gideon, hesitant at first, learns to trust in God’s strength rather than his own.
