What Is the True Meaning of Intimacy?
When we think about intimacy, we often picture deep connections—those rare relationships where we feel truly seen, known, and loved. It’s more than just being close to someone; it’s about trust, understanding, and unwavering commitment. But what about intimacy with God? What does it mean to draw near to the Creator of the universe in a way that is deeply personal and life-changing?
God desires intimacy with us. Not just a distant, formal relationship where we pray out of obligation or seek Him only in crisis—but a closeness that transforms us.
I Trust You: You Are Kind, Good, and Strong
Trust is the foundation of intimacy. Just like we open our hearts to a trusted friend, we must open our hearts to God. He is kind, good, and strong—always acting in love toward us. Even when life feels uncertain, God remains steadfast. The more we lean on Him in prayer, the more we experience His faithfulness.
