These chapters paint both a sobering picture of human pride and a stunning vision of God’s redemptive plan. We see glimpses of the coming Branch—a messianic figure—and witness Isaiah’s personal call to be God’s mouthpiece. Through political turmoil and spiritual rebellion, God continues to speak. These chapters remind us that His plans prevail even when the world is shaking, and He is still calling faithful servants to stand in the gap.

💬 Discussion Question

Why do you think seeing God’s holiness was necessary before Isaiah could accept his calling? How has awe shaped your obedience?

🙏 Prayer: Holy God, I come before You like Isaiah—aware of my unclean lips and broken ways. Yet You are the God who forgives, cleanses, and calls. Let Your holiness shape me. Make me bold to say yes to Your assignments. May I trust in Your presence more than I fear any threat. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
