September 30 – Service – Whom will I encourage and serve today?
đź’– Scripture for the Day
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10
Reflection
The Spirit’s work within you was never meant to stay contained—it was meant to overflow. As He fills your heart with love, peace, patience, and kindness, that fruit becomes nourishment for others. Every word of encouragement, every act of service, is evidence of the Spirit’s life flowing through you.
Sometimes encouragement looks like a kind word, a listening ear, or simply being present. Service doesn’t always require grand gestures—it begins with a heart that says, “Here I am, Lord. Use me.”
When you serve others, you’re extending the grace that’s been freely given to you. The Holy Spirit empowers you to notice needs, respond with compassion, and shine Christ’s love into everyday places. As this month draws to a close, let your final reflection be an act of giving—pouring out what God has poured in.
Daily Practice
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to show you someone who needs encouragement or care today. Take one simple action to serve or uplift them. Let your kindness be an overflow of the Spirit’s presence in your life.
✍️ Journal Prompt
Who can you encourage or serve today? How might your words or actions be a reflection of God’s grace in their life?
Prayer
Holy Spirit, Thank You for filling my life with Your presence this month. Let the fruit You’ve grown in me bless others. Open my eyes to someone who needs Your love today, and use me as Your vessel of encouragement and grace. Amen.
