💖 Scripture of the Day:
“Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.” — Ezekiel 18:30
Ezekiel 17–19 uses vivid parables and prophetic poetry to explain Judah’s unfaithfulness, God’s justice, and the people’s responsibility before Him. In chapter 17, the parable of two eagles and a vine illustrates Judah’s failed alliances and rebellion against Babylon. In chapter 18, God makes it clear that each person is accountable for their own sins and can choose repentance and life. Finally, chapter 19 is a lament for Israel’s leaders—portrayed as lions and a withered vine—who led the people into destruction. These chapters challenge us to reject excuses, take responsibility for our choices, and return to God, who delights to give life to the repentant.
📖 Overview of Ezekiel 17–19

👑 Choosing Life in God

- 📌 Key Verse: Ezekiel 17:19 – “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: As surely as I live, I will repay him for despising my oath and breaking my covenant.”

- 🔖 Ezekiel 18: Personal Responsibility
- 📌 Key Verse: Ezekiel 18:30 – “Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.”

- ❓ Application: What area of your life do you need to take personal responsibility for before God?
- 🔖 Ezekiel 19: A Lament for Leaders
- 📌 Key Verse: Ezekiel 19:14 – “It is now planted in the desert, in a dry and thirsty land.”
