💖 Scripture of the Day:
“Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.” – Psalm 80:3
Psalms 78–82 challenge us to remember God’s faithfulness, confront spiritual forgetfulness, and embrace His heart for justice. Asaph recounts Israel’s history, showing how quickly God’s people forgot His wonders and turned to rebellion. Yet God, in His mercy, continues to shepherd His people. These psalms highlight both divine patience and divine judgment. God defends the weak, holds leaders accountable, and calls His people to live in reverence and remembrance. Through story, warning, and worship, we’re reminded that forgetting God leads to folly, but remembering Him leads to wisdom and life. We are invited to trace God’s hand through history and to align ourselves with His heart in the present. These psalms stir a holy urgency—to remember well, live humbly, and lead with justice.
