💖 Scripture of the Day:

“But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.” — Job 32:8

In these chapters, we hear Job’s heartfelt longing for the days when life was full of honor, purpose, and God’s apparent favor. He reflects on his former influence and mourns the loss of respect and joy. Job passionately defends his innocence and pours out his sorrow over the unfairness of his suffering. Then a new voice—Elihu—enters the dialogue. Younger than the others, Elihu burns with frustration and offers a fresh, though imperfect, perspective. These chapters remind us that God welcomes honest lament and that wisdom isn’t always found in age or tradition.
