📜 Scripture of the Day: Numbers 16:5 – “Then he said to Korah and all his followers: ‘In the morning the Lord will show who belongs to Him and who is holy, and He will have that person come near Him. The one He chooses He will cause to come near Him.’”
Numbers 15-17 continues to show the contrast between faithfulness and rebellion. Chapter 15 reminds Israel of God’s commandments and introduces the law of unintentional sin, emphasizing the need for ongoing obedience. Chapter 16 recounts Korah’s rebellion, a stark warning against pride and defiance of God’s order, as his challenge to Moses and Aaron ultimately leads to severe consequences. In Chapter 17, God confirms Aaron’s leadership through a miraculous sign, demonstrating His divine authority and putting an end to disputes about the priesthood.
