📖 Scripture of the Day
Numbers 2:34 – “So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they camped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.”
The book of Numbers begins with God instructing Moses to take a census of the Israelites, organizing them into tribes and assigning roles to the Levites. These chapters highlight God’s order, structure, and purpose for His people as they prepare to journey toward the Promised Land. Each person had a place, and each role mattered, reinforcing the idea that no one was insignificant in God’s plan. The careful arrangement of the camp showed that God not only leads His people but also establishes a framework for them to thrive. Just as God structured Israel’s camp, He is also intentional in placing us where we are meant to serve, equipping us for the tasks He has prepared for us. Our lives are not random; they are designed for His purpose, and when we trust in His plan, we find security and direction.
